The SG has been the foundation of metal since day 1. Unfortunately the SG is very difficult to customize or modify without serious surgery. The P95:1 is designed and built to support the FRX, so no need for adapters or plugged holes. It's built to shred from the ground up. If you have ever tried to work on your SG pickups, you'll also appreciate the extra roomie guts for the EMG active system.
